They both have their Red and Green calling keys on the front. The E75 has left & right selection keys, and the Dpad on the front along with its shortcut keys, in addition to its Alphanumeric keypad. The N97 Mini has the new slanted Menu button on the front, and is a touch-oriented device, and hence has minimal keys on the front.

Front View (Slider Open) :
<p

It should roll out to all product codes eventually though.

Here is the changelog (via <a

The (kind of) recently launched Nokia E75 occupied that throne for a little while though. Given the Metal all around, and the One-Touch keys on the front. The E75 is noticeably thin-er than the E72 in terms of width. Height-wise they’re more or less the same.

The E72 has a 2.4″ screen while the E75 has a 2.4″ screen (both at the same resolution though). Both have front-facing VGA cameras in the upper side, near a earpiece and light sensor.
<p

Luckily they had a dummy model nearby, which looked exactly like the real thing.

Nokia E75 has received a Firmware update to version 110.48.125. Its previous firmware was v100.48.78.

The E75 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), so while its always a good idea to backup all your data before the firmware update, none of your programs or data should be affected with the update.

Remember you can update using the E75’s OTA (Over-The-Air) feature, or if you prefer you can download Nokia’s Software Updater application to update your E75 on your windows PC.

If there’s no new firmware detected for your device yet, it might be because it hasnt reached your region product code yet, or maybe your device is carrier branded. It should roll out to all product codes eventually though.

There’s no official changelog yet, but we’ll update this post as soon as we find one.

Edit: Here’s the official changelog from Nokia :

This software release includes several email improvements (setup, sync, connection reliability and readability) and automatic lookup added to Contacts. VoIP and Wi-Fi also have stability improvements. To get this software through your device, type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on-screen prompts. Additionally this software release is available through the Nokia Software Updater.

So far I’ve noticed that Menu transitions are a lot faster (Transitions between menus, transition from portrait to landscape, etc). I cant notice any new “features” as such but no doubt this update fixes a couple bugs under the hood.

Have you updated your E75 yet ? Notice anything new ? Do let us know in the comments y’all.

Update: Whoops. Forgot to mention that this was on an APAC Region Nokia E75. Also, apparently the Tapping and Turning controls have been removed in this firmware.
<a
