Continuing with our coverage of the upcoming Swiping feature in the Windows Phone keyboard, Action Centre and a look at Windows Phone 8.1 on the Lumia 920, here is a look at Internet Explorer 11 which is another major upgrade in Windows Phone 8.1 “Blue” release.
Amongst the visible changes, the stop / refresh button is now provided inside the address bar for quick access. Password saving support for the browser, another eagerly awaited feature, is also incoming with Internet Explorer 11.
A major addition to Internet Explorer is the Reading View mode, which works like the Reader mode in Safari and displays only the text of articles in a clutter-free view for easy reading.
You can even configure the text size and reading view styles between Brigh, Light, Medium & Dark. I only wish there was an option to display the text in Justified alignment in the Reading view.
We will update the post as soon as we learn about more features in Internet Explorer 11. But even as of now, it looks like a significant upgrade to the Internet Explorer 10 in Windows Phone 8.
