Facebook shuts down @facebook.com email, because Noone Uses It

Three years after it debuted, Facebook has killed off it’s @facebook.com email service.

The email service launched in 2010 and was supposed to be a basic approach to messaging, though it seems like not too many people were interested in Zuckerberg’s experiment. Instead people just stuck to using Facebook Messenger as a messaging service, heh.

If you’re still using the service, you’ll find that any incoming emails will now be automatically forwarded to your primary email address. Or you can also choose to disable that altogether.

Wow, I honestly never used this feature, at all. Heck I dont even know how to check if I got any emails on Facebook email.
