Late Apple founder, Steve Jobs will be getting a fitting tribute from the US Postal Service next year, and will appear on a postage stamp.
This comes in according to the Washington Post who managed to obtain a document, which confirmed that a Steve Jobs postage stamp was due for 2015. This is a long standing tradition with the US postal service, and other deceased icons that have got their own stamps include the likes of Elvis Presley and Johnny Carson, among others. Subjects for US postage stamps are chosen by an advisory committee of US citizens, who look for subjects that are “contemporary, timely, relevant, interesting and educational.”
