Sony Xperia Z1 f launched in Japan

The Sony Xperia Z1 f hits stores in Japan today, under Docomo branding.

Sony Xperia Z1

The Xperia Z1 f is basically a mini version of the Xperia Z1, boasting exactly the same features and specs, including a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel Exmor RS camera. All that packed into a smaller device with a 4.3 inch 720p display which is the only area it lacks versus the 1080p display of the Xperia Z1. Rumors indicate we might see a global variant of this one announced at CES next month, so here’s hoping!

Available in Japan for ¥79,800 ($768, though it’s much cheaper on contract) in white, black, lime and pink colors.
