Nexus 5 Banners Spotted In Indian LG Store, Launch Imminent?

Looks like the Nexus 5 will be launching in India any day now, judging from this banner spotted in an LG showroom in Bangalore.

The image was spotted by Androwin over on Google Plus, and the original posted claims that the phones will be available in stores in Bangalore on Monday, but no word on other cities just yet.

At the launch of the Nexus 5, Google stated that India would be getting the LG-made phone ‘soon’, and listed the new smartphone over on the Indian Google Play store, with pricing information but no actual date. That led us to believe that Google would be selling the phone themselves, but it looks like LG will be selling it in their retail stores as well. Either way, it’s good news for fans of stock Android smartphones!

The Nexus 5 will be priced at Rs 28,990 for the 16 GB version and Rs 32,990 for the 32 GB version, whenever it goes on sale on Google’s Play Store. Apparently if you buy it from an LG store, it’ll cost Rs 1000 more.
