Nokia exec states Instagram for Windows Phone is on its way

Nokia and Nokia fans have been hoping for an official Instagram client for Windows Phone for a while now. Way back in March, Nokia launched their #2InstaWithLove campaign to show the social network how much interest there was in the platform, but there’s been little official word since.

Thankfully there have been some great unofficial Instagram clients for Windows Phone that have turned up along the way, such as Instance and 6Tag. But according to statements by a Nokia executive, there might still be hope for an official Instagram client afterall.

Nokia’s Chris Weber was in Thailand last week and apparently stated that an Instagram client is on its way. No other details apart from that though, which kinda makes me a little suspicious about it.

So there you have it Windows Phone fans. There’s still hope. Don’t stop believin’!
