HTC One mini Announced: 4.3 Inch 720p Display, Ultrapixel Camera

The HTC One mini was announced today, after many months of speculation, rumors and leaks.

The HTC One mini boasts a 4.3 inch 720p display (about 341 PPI), runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense UI on top, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor clocked at 1.4 Ghz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and the usual Ultrapixel camera, Boomsound dual front facing speakers, LTE, and a 1800 mAh battery, all in a package that measures 132 x 63.2 x 9.25mm and weighs 122g.

Coming to select markets in August and September, in Glacial Silver and Stealth Black color options, but no word on pricing.

    Somehow the HTC One Mini closely resembles my HTC One S. It is the same size screen, with similar layout. The processor of the S is slightly faster. I like the size and think that a larger phone would be awkward in my small hands.
