Apparently new units of the Google Nexus 4 have a slight design change that involves tiny little nubs.
The nubs are placed at the edges of the smartphone, so as to raise the back panel slightly, to prevent scratches and help the speaker actually be heard. They’re pretty tiny and dont take away from the design at all, but it’s a nice tweak that will hopefully also prevent the LG-made smartphone from slipping when placed on flat surfaces, as is known to happen.
Another tweak that folks noticed, is around the camera which now has a little less exposed area around the lens, possibly to help prevent light leakage? No official word from Google or LG about the design changes so far.
