LG Optimus F5 Hands-On [video]

Along with the mid-range 4G LTE equipped LG Optimus F7, the LG Optimus F5 was also announced alongside by the company last week, a slightly cheaper device in the same lower-mid-range category.

LG Optimus F5

The Optimus F5 is basically positioned higher on the food chain than all the L II series of smartphones from LG’s stable, while still being lower than the Optimus F7. It’s a bit similar to the Optimus L7 II, which features an 8 megapixel camera and large 2460 mAh battery, but the Optimus F5 features a slightly better 960 x 540 pixels resolution display, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage space. It’s let down in terms of camera specs though, having a 5 Megapixel camera with no auto-focus or flash.

The F5 is powered by a 2150 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with LG’s Optimus UI on top. Here’s a quick video hands-on to give you a better idea:

All in all, another decent mid-ranger I guess. Going on sale before the summer, but no word on pricing just yet. More pictures of the Optimus F7 and the Optimus F5, over at our gallery post at the link below.
