Tizen smartphones to go on sale in France this year

Samsung has previously confirmed that the company will launch Tizen devices in 2013, but it was revealed at a press event at Mobile World Congress that French operator Orange will be selling Tizen smartphones manufactured by Samsung and Huawei this very year. The Tizen Project have also officially released the Tizen 2.0 SDK and source code; some of the platform’s features include support for both HTML5 and native apps and apps that use a combination of HTML5 and native code, full multitasking, text-to-speech capabilities and a user interface that is remarkably similar to Android and iOS.
