Untethered iOS 6.1 evasi0n jailbreak released for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

iOS 6.1 Jailbreak Tool evasi0n is now available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Available for Windows (XP and newer), OS X (10.5 and newer) and Linux (x86) the untethered jailbreak tool can be used with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 2, third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, iPad mini, fourth-generation iPod touch, and fifth-generation iPod touch as long as they’re on iOS 6.0, iOS 6.0.1, 6.0.2 or iOS 6.1.

Jailbreaking an app, as you might already know, allows you to install apps, themes, mods and tweaks that arnt available on Apple’s App Store because they’re not officially approved.

Since this is an untethered jailbreak, users can install it on their device without needing to tether it to a computer whenever the device needs to restart. As always, it is recommended that you backup before attempting to jailbreak, and make sure your passcode is disabled.
