Windows Phone 7.8 Update Now Rolling Out For All Nokia Lumia Phones [video]

If you picked up a Nokia Lumia phone running Windows Phone 7.5 last year, here’s good news for ya! The Windows PHone 7.8 update is now rolling out to the Lumia 900, Lumia 800, Lumia 710, Lumia 610 and Lumia 510.

It’s definitely been a long time coming, but the update brings along the new resizable tiles for the start screen from Windows Phone 8, along with new tile colors and a couple more things that we detailed out in our What’s New with Windows Phone 7.8 Post:

The update should be available over Zune for Windows, or the Windows Phone Connector app for Mac. If your device is locked to a carrier though, the update might not come along until mid-February:

[quote_simple]“The Windows Phone 7.8 update is now rolling out for Nokia Lumia smartphones through February. Delivery of the update is operator dependent, meaning you will receive a notification in the coming weeks if you have an unlocked phone or if your operator has approved the update. If you don’t receive the update notification within the next three weeks, please contact your operator for more information.”[/quote_simple]
