Samsung launched their Music Hub streaming service last year but at the time it was exclusive to their products only. Not any longer apparently, as Samsung’s Samsung’s SVP for media services TJ Kang has confirmed that the company will be bringing Music Hub to non-Samsung products as well.
No timeline given unfortunately or any indication of which devices we’ll see it on. According to TheNextWeb, Kang explained that they want to get the service on more of Samsung’s own devices first, including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and other hardware, because currently the service is only available on the Samsung Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II.
Samsung’s Music Hub is powered by music streaming company mSpot, which was acquired by Samsung last year as well.
