Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Tablet Rumored to Launch at Mobile World Congress
Recent Benchmarks and Certification listings have revealed a Samsung “GT-N5100″ and “GT-N5110″ model numbers which led to speculation that they might be new versions of a Galaxy Note tablet.
And now, according to SamMobile, we have rumors that the GT-N5100/10 will be called the “Galaxy Note 8.0.” As the name implies, it’ll be an 8 inch tablet with a Super Clear LCD at 1280×800 resolution measuring 211.3×136.3×7.95mm and weighing about 330 grams. There’ll apparently be a 5 Megapixel camera at the back, and a 1.3 Megapixel front facing camera for video calls. All that and Wifi and 3G versions as well with the GT-N5100 (Wifi) and GT-N5110 (Wifi/3G).
Apparently it’ll have 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB versions running Android JellyBean, but the processor might be the same 1.6GHz Exynos 4 Quad CPU as on the Galaxy Note 2, and have a Wacom-based “S Pen” stylus as well.
SamMobile is usually right about this sort of thing, and predicts that it’ll be launched at Mobile World Congress next month. Looks like it’s going to be an exciting February, eh?
