Nokia India Online Store now has Pricing for their New Wireless Chargers & JBL Speakers

Nokia India’s online store apparently now has pricing information for the wireless charging pads, Fatboy pillow and the JBL PowerUp and PlayUp Speakers.

The pricing goes:

Nokia Wireless Charging Plate DT-900 – Rs 3999
Nokia Wireless Charging Pillow by Fatboy DT-901 – Rs 5499
JBL PlayUp Potable Wireless Speaker MD-51w – Rs 11,999
JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker MD-100w – Rs 18,999
Nokia Luna (Wireless charging version) – Rs 4530

No prices yet for the Nokia Purity Pro wireless headphones (Which I really, reaaaallly want), or the Wireless Charging shell for the Lumia 820 though. None of the accessories seem to be in stock either, but that’s no surprise since Nokia India stated at the Lumia 920 & 820 launch yesterday, that it’d be a couple of weeks before accessories would be available.

For a price that high, they better bundle the charging plate with Lumia 920.

Qi is very costly. People are better off buying a stand/dock with USB port for charging as well as syncing when connected to PC.

Same goes with that JBL speaker. For 19k I can easily get a much higher quality Soundbar by Altec Lansing or Philips and still save substantial amount of money. I will miss the NFC capability and Qi charging but for saving a huge amount of money, I am ready to leave them. These two technologies need to be cheap so I hope with more production they will get cheap, with time.
