Instagram for iOS & Android Updated: Brings new “Mayfair” filter, more languages

After the huge drama over their changed terms of service, Instagram released an update to their iPhone app today.

Instagram new iOS Update

The new version brings in a new “mayfair” filter and support for more languages, along with the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. And just ten days after their last update bought a new filter too. The changelog goes:

What’s New in Version 3.4.0
- Instagram is now available in 25 languages!
- New filter: Mayfair
- Share photos from any album
- Facebook iOS 6 integration
- Improved performance and bug fixes

The update also brings an odd bug to the UI, that makes private photos seems like they might be viewable by other users. The slider which usually is left for public and right for private, is automatically now shifted to the left but this is apparently just a UI bug, and the private photos remain private.

Available right over at the App Store, as always.

Update: Instagram for Android also got the update with the new filter. Thanks for the heads up @Harkison .Right over at the Google Play Store y’all.

New in 3.4.0:
- Instagram is now available in 25 languages!
- New filter: Mayfair
- Share your Instagram photos to Facebook Pages
- Improved performance and bug fixes
