Right after Instagram’s update yesterday which bought along a new filter but removed Twitter card support, the popular microblogging platform has updated their apps for iOS and Android as well.
The update brings in new filters and effects that you can add to your photos before sharing them on Twitter. The filters are a result of a partnership with Aviary, and include 8 different photo filters right now, from vintage to black & white. And instead of having to apply each filter one by one to see the effects on your photo, Twitter’s implementation has a birds eye grid view of all the filters on your photo at the same time.
In addition, you can also crop or frame your photos before sharing, if you’d want to, and there’s an auto-enhance option as well, to automatically adjust colors and lighting. Here’s a fun little video to teach you how to use it all:
Available over on the respective app stores, as always.
