The LG Optimus L9 quietly went up on LG India’s website last week, but it’s been officially launched in the subcontinent today, for a price of Rs 23,000.
The Optimus L9 features a dual-core 1GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.0 ICS, a large, 4.7-inch IPS display, 5 megapixel rear camera, all powered by a big ol’ 2150mAh battery. There’s a new version of LG’s Optimus UI on top, which has a redesigned “My Style” keyboard and a language translater app onboard.
The keyboard is pretty interesting and lets you to adjust the key placement for ‘easier one-handed typing.’ The translater app is called “QTranslator” and uses OCR to translate phrases or sentences from over 44 different languages, into 64 different languages.

LG Optimus L9 features Android 4.0 ICS and a gorgeous 4.7-inch IPS display for vivid colors and clear text.
