Microsoft working on OTA update to fix Windows Phone 8 Random Reboot Issues

Microsoft is apparently working on an Over-The-Air software update that will fix issues Windows Phone 8 device owners are facing.

One of those issues is a bug that’s causing some devices loaded with the OS to reboot randomly. According to a statement by Microsoft, they have identified the cause, and are working to push the OTA update out in December, but are still keeping quiet on what’s the actual behind the bug:

“We’re continuing to investigate some reports of phones rebooting and have identified a cause with our partners. We are working to get an over-the-air update out in December.”

Do you have a Lumia 920 or HTC 8X? Have you noticed any random restarts on your devices? We havent noticed any restarts with our units, so I’m assuming this is limited to a certain region or maybe a select couple of apps that we havent installed. *shrug*
