Samsung announces Galaxy Note II has sold 5 million units globally

That was fast. Samsung announced today, that they have soled over 5 million units of their 5.5 inch Galaxy Note II phablet.

The Galaxy Note II is selling in most parts of the world including right here in India which was one of the launch countries, and now North America which no doubt helped it reach the figure this quickly. When the first Galaxy Note was released, it’s success was a pretty huge suprise, but with the Galaxy Note II doing so well, it looks like phablets are here to stay for a while, eh folks?

Only a matter of time before we get an iPhablet now then, heh.
