Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Leaked for the Samsung Galaxy S II

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is currently still rolling out to Samsung’s Galaxy S III, but there was no word on when the much-anticipated update would come along to their former flagship, the ol’ Galaxy S II.

Thankfully, the Galaxy S II just saw its first Jelly Bean ROM being leaked this week. It’s an Android 4.1.2 ROM in a beta stage, so if you decide to flash it to your device, do note that there might be a couple bugs here and there.

It is proof though, that Samsung is working to bring all the goodness of Jelly Bean, including Google Now and Project butter to their 2011 flagship. More info over at the XDA thread link right below.
