Fix for Wifi going off during screenlock on Windows Phone, Coming Soon

If you’ve read our Windows Phone 8 review, you probably noticed that one of the few things that still really annoyed us about the mobile OS, was that the wifi still disconnected when you screenlocked the phone.

It’s something that used to happen on Windows Phone 7, and was quite annoying, since you get a barrage of notifications after you unlock your screen and the wifi reconnects. According to Microsoft’s own Joe Belfiore though, a “fix” for that will be coming along. Behold, the tweet:
