Nokia JBL PlayUp Speaker Hands-On [video]
Although Nokia had no big announcements to make at IFA, they did have their new PlayUp wireless speaker on display and we’ve managed to secure some hands-on time with this year’s follow-up to the impressive but expensive Play 360. The PlayUp, just like most of Nokia’s other accessories, offers top-notch build quality, a rechargeable battery and dual Bluetooth and wired connectivity options; it can also pair with a device over NFC. During our time with it, we found it to be surprisingly loud and capable of offering good bass, even if the middle of a noisy convention centre certainly isn’t ideal conditions for conducting proper testing.
