Indian brand Zync launches Z-909 plus budget Android tablet for Rs 3699

Aiming to go lower than their recently launched Z999 tablet, Indian brand Zync announced a new budget tablet today. The Zync Z-909 for the low, loooow price of Rs 3699 (about USD $65).

The Z909 weighs ‘just’ 360 grams, runs Android 2.3 gingerbread and features a 7 inch resistive touch screen, a 1GZ processor, 256MB of RAM, WiFi, a front facing 0.3 Megapixel camera and 4GB of inbuilt memory, with a microSD card slot. Also features a normal sized USB port and a microUSB port so that you can attach a keyboard or dongle.

Available “across major online e-commerce portals” and across 22 states through its distributor network Balaji Solutions.

I appreciate what the company is doing, but egads man resistive screens should be banned.

Zync enters the sub 4K segment

India, July 27: Close on the heels of announcing the Z-999 plus in the low-cost tablet market, Zync Global Private Limited today announced its entry into the sub 4K segment with the launch of its model- Z-909 plus. The Z-909 plus can be bought at an affordable price of Rs. 3699/- and will be available across major online e-commerce portals like Snapdeal.com, HomeShop18.com, Futurebazaar.com, Naaptol.com. It will be made available across 22 states through its distributor network Balaji Solutions. The tablet comes with add-on practical accessories such as screen guard and  a lycra pouch apart from the standard USB cable and a charger – all included at a bargain price of Rs 3699/-

The tablet sports a 7-inch resistive touch screen powered by a 1GZ processor, includes WiFi connectivity with a front 0.3MP camera. It runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and has a powerful 3000mAH battery which makes it an ideal device for long hours of usage.  Loaded with a 256MB RAM, the device 4GB in-built memory, can be expanded to 16 GB. Its size, light weight of 360 gm makes it a portable device to carry with much ease. It also has a micro and macro USB port for attaching external dongles and keyboard.

On the connectivity front, it offer Wi-Fi connectivity so one can surf internet, send and receive email, audio and video recording, video chat and much more at Wi-Fi enabled hot spot. The tablet also comes with pre-loaded apps such as Angry Birds and Ibibo. The Z-909 plus also has the BigFlix application embedded into the tablet which gives a seamless movie experience to all the movie buffs.
