UK judge orders Apple to state that Samsung didn’t copy the iPad

Wow, now here’s something you dont hear every day. A British Judge is forcing Apple to publicly state that Samsung did not copy their iPad Design.

Judge Colin Birss ordered that Apple has to post a notice on their website, along with several British newspapers and magazines to try and correct the “damaging impression the South Korea-based company was copying Apple’s product,” states Bloomberg. And the online notice is supposed to be kept for six months.

Apple lost their case against Samsung in the UK earlier this month, with the same judge ruling that the Galaxy Tab was “not as cool” as the iPad. This has to be one of the strangest judges in history, heh. Will be interesting to see what/how Apple responds.
