If you’re in India and have been wanting to pick up the new iPad (or even the iPad 2 which has now become cheaper), you’ll be happy to know that the Apple tablet is now available in stores in the subcontinent.

I dropped by a neighboring “imagine” Store here in Delhi and noticed that there wasnt really much of a crowd at all around the new iPads. The store said they already sold a handful of them though, and that the 64 GB Wifi or Wifi+3G versions are not in stock currently. Boo.

This is the third phase of new iPad launches from Apple, that bring the iOS tablet to 46 countries in total:

Beginning on Friday, April 27, the new iPad will be available in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.
