HTC and Facebook apparently working on new Android phone

HTC is apparently working with Facebook (again) to release another new Android phone with the social network.

According to Digitimes, a Facebook-centric customized smartphone is set to launch in the next half of the year, featuring a “a platform exclusive to Facebook” whatever that means. The phone will have a ‘full feature set’ of integration with the social network. HTC tried this before with their ChaCha and Salsa phones which sold pretty okay.

Interesting that Facebook would want to brand phones with their name though, according to this rumor. Would you buy a Facebook phone? Especially since platforms like Windows Phone do a pretty good job as it is?
