The first round of reviews of the new iPad are out across the internets. The new Apple tablet is going on sale in stores tomorrow, so if you’re thinking of picking one up, you’ll want to check these reviews out.
The general consensus is that the Retina Display is very impressive, as well as the general responsiveness of the UI and Apps, and the fast LTE.
Joshua Topolsky from The Verge laments the lack of a glance-able info on the iPad but cant recommend any other tablet as highly, saying the Retina display makes it look like a glowing piece of paper.
Minor gripes aside, the iPad remains best in breed when it comes to design and materials. Other tablets may have more ports or larger screens, but few can match the elegance, sleekness, or solidness of this device.
Jason Snell from Macworld thinks that iPad 2 users shouldnt look at the new iPad, because it’ll be very hard to go back to it:

Jim Dalrymple from The Loop was impressed with it’s usability and the Retina display.
So, what did I like about the iPad? Simple — the experience. Nobody in the market today can touch the Apple experience.
The infamous Mg Siegler from TechCrunch says that looking at the new iPad is like putting on your glasses and seeing the world clearly again.
Technology is amazing, and this new iPad is amazing. Also amazing: the only company competing with Apple right now in this particular space is Apple.
