Google docs for Android now supports realtime collaboration

Google docs for Android might not be the best productivity app, but it has added an innovative feature to it, and that is real time collaboration thanks to the cloud.

Real time sync with every device that is editing on the same document, how cool is that? This kind of collaboration is sometimes annoying but it is really a marvel to just watch others type on your document in real time, and Google have portrayed that very well in that promo video.

The only thing that irks me is, the pinch zoom on the app is still fidgety, what’s so hard with a pinch zoom gesture on a text document? Come on, Google, you can do better! Or may be I am just nit picking, ha!

Seems to work well on both kinds of devices, phones as well as tablets, Ice cream sandwich being demoed here.
