The Sony Xperia U turns up in the wild, right next to the Xperia S

The Much-leaked Sony Xperia U just turned up in the wild again today, right next to it’s bigger brother, the Sony Xperia S.

The Xperia U (ST25i) codenamed ‘Kumquat’ is supposed to be Sony’s new mid-range android smartphone offering for 2012, featuring a similar design, and boasting a 1Ghz dual core processor, 512MB of RAM, qHD 3.5 Inch display, 5 Megapixel Rear camera and Android 2.3 upgradable to Android 4.0 ICS. With the trademark transparent notification bar at the bottom of the smartphone.

Expected to be announced at Sony’s press conference at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this coming Sunday. More pictures at the source below.
