If you’ve been following all the rumors of Apple’s new “super high resolution” iPad display, here’s some new news for ya regarding that QXGA Retina Display in a 4:3 tablet.
According to MacRumors, who managed to get ahold of one of these supposed iPad 3 display, put it under a microscope and found that inspite of having the same 9.7 inch diagonal screen size as the existing iPads, the new display has 4 times the amount of pixels.
Ofcourse there’s no telling if we’ll actually see that screen in the iPad 3 but but hey atleast we know there’s a 9.7-inch, 4:3 aspect ratio, 2048 x 1536 LCD display being made.
