Rovio has launched their insanely popular mobile game on every platform imaginable, but now they’re aiming for the final frontier.

Angry Birds Space will be launching this March 22nd according to a cryptic video on their website, with no other info. Rovio is hoping this new game follows up on the success of the original Angry Birds franchise, which has been over 700 million app downloads and tons of merchandise since it’s launch. According to the company’s official blog, Angry Birds Space will differ from previous Angry Birds offerings, and will release simultaneously on mobile, animation, retail, and publishing, in a consolidated launch which is a first for any mobile game.
There will be the usual Angry Birds physics and formula but with new elements of gameplay like planets with zero gravity, slow motion puzzles, and new birds with new powers. Apparently NASA and Nat Geo are all launch partners for the new game, which is pretty huge, eh?
Cant wait for March 22nd!
