Tweetbot updated to v2.0 for iPhone with new features, released for iPad

Popular iPhone Twitter client Tweetbot released an iPad version today, along with an updated app, bringing a whole lotta new features.

The v2.0 update for the iPhone client adds inline images in a timeline view, which is also present in the iPad version, modified link behavior with links are colored blue, and an update to the DM interface with an iMessage-styled UI revamp. There’s faster performance and a new ‘retweeted by’ bar as well.

Unfortunately both the iPad and iPhone versions are available as seperate apps, for $2.99 each. But hey if you’re a big twitter user and not happy with the official Twitter apps for iPhone and iPad, here ya go.
