General Manager for Windows Phone Design Studio, Albert Shum, showed a slide at Nokia World apparently, hinting towards future Windows Phone design iterations.

“Tomorrow’s” new form factors include tablets, and 4 other form factors like a small screen design, a thin bezel design that seems to have no buttons, and a design with a large bezel at the bottom suggesting a qwerty front hardware keyboard. Next to that, is an average touchscreen phone design. Apparently Shum said this was “something we’re still working on” and that “You want an ecosystem that’s not just one or two things, you want diversity. If you do well not just on phone but on PC and on tablet, then your ecosystem can really live and breathe”
No word on a time frame on such devices, but Nokia’s Qwerty devices have been a personal favorite with me, so I’d love to see one make an appearance at Mobile World Congress later this month, eh?
