Over on Maemo.org, an enthusiastic developer called ‘Teamer‘ is working on trying to port popular IM app, Whatsapp, to the Nokia N9.
The MeeGo powered smartphone has not received any love from the developers of the popular app/service, which is quickly becoming everyone’s first install on their devices. As such fans of the service who are using the Nokia N9 are feeling a little cut-off. Teamer looks to be quite close to creating a working port of it, as a plugin for the N9, and the ol’ N900. Congratulations to whoever shows development interest in whatsapp. Its long overdue cos N9 was there b4 windows yet it does not have whatsapp but windows phone has it. We cant wait to have it. I nearly sold my N9 cos of that. Pls when can we expect it?
We really need whatsapp :( N9 is a good machine but im so into whatsapp and so are my friends.... :( look forward to hearing good news from you again haha!
Ive never see that Whatsapp but other N9er guys demand it so strong that I am looking foreward for that Whatsapp whatever it is its worth to know why ppl like it. When it will come?
