Looks like GetJar managed to get a major publisher for their GetJar Gold scheme that offers premium apps for free: Gameloft.
Gameloft is offering their popular racing title Asphalt 6: Adrenaline free for Android phones in the “world’s largest free app store.”
Asphalt 6 lets you discover 42 different cars and bikes from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Ducati and many more, and tear up the streets of Los Angeles, Tokyo, the Bahamas and other amazing locations. Drive against tough opponents in different leagues with online and local multiplayer for up to six players.
The graphics are pretty good and the game is free. Not too bad, right? Check out getjar.com on your Android smartphone and search for the game under “GetJar Gold” titles to get it (Note: You’ll have to download GetJar’s client).
