Looks like Nokia is killing off Symbian sooner than expected according to a post by The Register.

Apparently we should expect to see only one more Symbian phone released by the Finnish Giant this year, and that phone is expected to be the successor to the Nokia N8. Keep in mind, Nokia Belle (formerly known as Symbian Belle) is yet to roll out to current devices. According to the Register, they also think this is the reason why ST Ericsson told investors to expect a short term decline in sales due to reduction of products from one of their customers.
Previously, it was thought that Nokia would support Symbian for atleast 3 years, so this is a surprise.
