UK retailer Clove Technology has taken the ASUS Transformer Prime off their currently selling devices list this week, stating faults reported by customers and difficulty in obtaining stock as the main reason.

Clove posted on their official blog, saying stock levels have become a “real issue” and inspite of being able to get some Transformer Prime units earlier than they expected, have decided that it’s now time to withdraw the tablet from sale because of faults in some units and complaints from customers.
ASUS has already seen the Transformer Prime launch affected by poor availability and many reports of Wifi and GPS issues on the Android tablet, so the move must come as a blow to the company. Clove is the first retailer to take such a drastic step though, and the Prime is still available at other brand outlets.
