Apparently Samsung is going to announce a device called the Galaxy S II Plus at Mobile World Congress later this month, and according to a tweet from resident leaker Eldar Murtazin, this is what it looks like.

It looks much like the Galaxy S II with the buttons now onscreen instead of where they’d normally be. This is probably due to the device having Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich onboard, which explains the capacitive buttons. Also rumored is an 800 x 480 pixel resolution screen, on a 1.5 GHz dual core processor.
Samsung announced that they are not announcing the Galaxy S III at Mobile World Congress, choosing to announce it at their own even instead, later in the year. Until the SGS3 is announced, it looks like Sammy has found a way to keep making more money with the Galaxy S series eh? Assuming it’s available soon right after it’s announced. The only other device running ICS right now is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
