‘Quick Voice Input Keyboard’ brings Voice commands and dictation to Nokia N9

A new app by developer Patrizio Bruno has allowed for Voice Commands and Dictation on the ol’ Nokia N9.

The description goes:

Google’s speech services on N9, as simple as select a new keyboard. Quick Voice supports every Google speech-services language, but has been tested only for English, Spanish, Italian, French and Deutsch.

Now speech-to-text sms, voice dialing and voice search is available to N9.
Other releases will come to add capitalization, symbols, T9 and a simple, but complete touch keyboard.

Toolbars aren’t yet supported, to send a msg the enter key, placed to the right of space key, should be used.

If you’ve always wanted voice commands on your MeeGo smartphone, you can buy the app over at the Nokia Store.
