Apparently the Indian launch of Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus has been delayed to all the way in March, according to a tweet from Samsung India’s twitter account.
The tweet was sent to a user who inquired about when the Galaxy Nexus would be available in India. Disappointing, seeing as how Mobile World Congress is towards the end of March and who knows if anyone would be interested in the Galaxy Nexus by then, considering how fast the Android ecosystem moves. On the flip side, Samsung might be worried about the Galaxy Nexus impacting their SGS2 or Galaxy Note sales, which seems like a silly reason to me, to be honest.
As I remember, the Nexus S was also released in India after, the announcement of the Galaxy S II in April 2011, so if that last reason is true, maybe Samsung wants to announce the SGS3 before the Galaxy Nexus goes on sale here.
