I flashed the Stock Ice Cream Sandwich ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S2 just last week, and thought I’d do a quick overview.
The video shows off most of the features on Ice Cream Sandwich, and it really speaks for itself. We like what Ice Cream Sandwich is bringing to Android. That said, Samsung’s ICS ROM was a bit disappointing, even depressing to a degree. But more than that in another post.

This stock ROM is at Beta 1.1 and is very stable and we’ve been using it as our daily driver for a week now. Video recording does not work, video playback is extremely chopping, and videos on Youtube are discoloured. There are also no controls for the capacitive backlit keys. It did hang once in a while, but nothing a restart didn’t solve and there were no problems with network, reception, 3G, WiFi, bluetooth and the sort.
If you want to download Ice Cream Sandwich for your Samsung Galaxy S2 here’s a multiupload link (not by us). Do let us know if you need any help with flashing this ROM.
Update 1-
The ROM is an Airbus360 ROM. So the guy who baked this apparently wanted nothing to do with XDA anymore, which is why you won’t find this on XDA. But he claims to fully support stock ICS, meaning this will probably get future updates as soon as the next Samsung ROM drops or leaks. Check it out at the link here.
