Apart from the Nokia Lumia 800 being available in stores in India today, the folks here at the store have confirmed that Nokia’s second windows phone, the Lumia 710 has also been launched, available for a grand ol’ price of Rs 18,999.

That puts it at the same price as the better speced Samsung Omnia W, so it’ll be interesting to see how the two do in sales, and if Nokia India’s massive amount of marketing works. The Lumia 710 (hands-on here) as you might already know, features a clearblack LCD display, a 5 Megapixel camera, 1.4 ghz single core processor and is available in black or white colors with 5 different colored back panels available in-box.
"That puts it at the same price as the better speced Samsung Omnia W" don't they have same internals, what better features does OmniaW have ?
Now that's a good price for the 710. I kept on thinking that they should really break the 20K barrier if they want to make a splash. Not only did they break it, but they actually went to 19K. I have a feeling this phone will sell well in the upcoming holiday season. If only they had priced the 800 a bit more considerably too. :(
