Indian OEM MicroMax Takes on Apple (Again) with ‘iCanAffordThisPhone4Sure’ Ad

Back in August, Indian Handset Maker Micromax took a little swing at Apple’s iPhone, with a large tongue-in-cheek advertisement in the Times of India Newspaper, with the “iCanAffordthisPhone” slogan. The OEM took another swing today, with a new ad having a “iCanAffordThisPhone4Sure” slogan taking center stage:

The ads are for the company’s new affordable A75 Superfone Android smartphone. As you might already know, the iPhone 4S price in India, is set pretty high, making it the most expensive non-luxury smartphone in the country, starting at close to US $800 for the 16GB version.

Pretty ballsy thing to do, eh? What do you think?
