If there was any doubt that the iPad is the number one desired tablet, that’s all now been disproved by a new survey by Maritz Research who found that Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry users all preferred the iPad to other tablets.
You’d think that fans of one type of OS would pick the same OS when picking a tablet, but oh noes! More than half (53 percent) of Blackberry users said they’d buy an iPad if they were looking for an iPad. Similarly 41 percent of Android users favored the Apple tablet over the Galaxy Tab or Kindle Fire Android alternatives. And lastly, 40 percent of surveyed Windows Phone users chose the iPad as well.
