Jurgen Thysman, a Communication Manager for Nokia Benelux, apparently sent out a tweet saying that the Nokia Lumia 800 might get an update today, bringing in Wifi Hotspot abilities and fixing the battery drain issue some users are currently facing.
The translation reads:
@Jarno Bastiaan1981 Nokia update is coming tomorrow. I send thismore info tomorrow. But the info on @pocketinfo_nl makes sense.
He followed up saying that the update was newer than the recent 7740.16 version that was released a couple days ago. Nokia said that Nokia World that an update would be coming along soon to bring the aforementioned features in, so we’re crossing our fingers that this might be right on schedule for today!
