At the Nokia Lumia 800 India launch, Nokia India said that their first Windows Phone device would be available in stores by mid-december and it looks like things are right on track, with pre-orders now available for the Lumia 800.
Unfortunately the Nokia Lumia 710 will not be available till Late January, but if you head to a Nokia Priority Store [Find one near you here], you’ll be able to book the Lumia 800 with an upfront payment of Rs. 2000. If you dont want to book it at a store, you can just head on over to Nokia India’s Lumia 800 Pre-Order website to make the booking. Devices are expected to be available between the 15th and 20th, with no word on the actual price yet, which is a worry.
Additionally, only the Black Lumia 800 would be available first, but a Nokia India spokesperson said the blue and magenta variants would be available before Christmas. We had a little hands-on time with the Lumia 800 and we definitely liked what we saw. But unless it’s priced around 26,000 INR, we dont really see it flying off shelves in the subcontinent.

Being a true Nokia lover since i have been using phones, and being a gadget lover, the price tag is the last thing on my mind. i loved the Nokia Lumia 800's build and interface, and it clearly the most awesome looking , yet affordable smartphone in the game.Also, a lot of my friends are interested in the Nokia Lumia 800. Even my dad asked me about it, which is great. Te phone has really generated a lot of buzz, and everyone is eagerly awaiting the Lumia 800. Nokia have a winneer on their hands once again, and it shall be proved soon.
Nokia is finally back and how! They’ve created quite a bang with their new Lumia 800. The pre-orders have begun and have already created quite a buzz. This looks like a highly promising phone which would bring Nokia back at the top in the smartphones market. A Windows Phone OS, an 8 MP Camera, a nice Unibody design; and features like People Hub, Office Hub, XBOX Gaming, Nokia MixRadio and other really makes this phone a strong contender for the top spot in the smartphone market. Just keeping the price right will work wonders for Nokia!

Unfortunately Nokia India have remained very quiet on the price and the Lumia 710 availability. There's a rumor that the Lumia 800 might be close to Rs 30,000 because of the whole US dollar fiasco. The Lumia 710 is expected around late January next year.
