Nokia Research show off their version of Indoor Mapping, just after Google announced their version of it in the Android Google Maps App. Nokia apparently gathered 30 companies including chip makers and service providers at their Sunnyvale offices to demo the research and hope to create a group to set global standards for indoor navigation services so that you can use your phone to navigate through malls or large buildings, etc. During the demo, Nokia put a Bluetooth tag on a Parrot Drone and the room has Bluetooth Low Energy antenna arrays mounted on the ceiling to triangulate in real time, the drone’s location.
