Fix for Galaxy Nexus volume bug rolling out OTA

Samsung is reportedly pushing out an OTA firmware update to fix the volume bug on the Galaxy Nexus.

UK retailer Clove broke the news today with batches of the handset already received the new software update. Incase you havent heard about the bug yet, volume on the Galaxy Nexus would fluctuate when connected to a 2G 900MHz network often used by European carriers, and would refuse to recognize volume button presses.

What we've heard is that the Galaxy Nexus was supposed to be released in December here, but was pushed back because of the whole dollar fiasco. *shrug*

Can anyone confirm this that has received a handset from Clove?

You can check out the post on the clove blog for more confirmation :o) http://blog.clove.co.uk/2011/11/30/samsung-galaxy-nexus-update-rolling-out/
